Its a Baby!!

Hi all!! This is my first post on here so here we go! First of all our due date is March 28, 2011!! Im hoping the baby waits till April since we have so many birthdays in March in both our families!! Im sure closer to the end of the pregnancy I will change my mind! Haha... Today was my 11 wk check up and got to hear our baby's heartbeat!! It was amazing!! Everything is going great, my doctor said that the heartbeat was very strong! 166/97. Still no ultrasound yet bc I guess they say Im textbook and no worries... I should be getting an ultrasound at my 16 weeks apt... Our next appointment after that is at 18 weeks and we will check all the important organs, brain, and spine, etc... We will also find out the SEX that day!! We will be having a party to find out the sex with all our family and friends that night so as soon as we know the exact date we'll let you know!! =) I have had a pretty great pregnancy so far, no morning sickness at all, no food aversions, no cravings, but I have been SUPER SLEEPY!! I do know its completely normal, but it does make me ready for the 2nd trimester!! So here is a little info about our baby right now... The baby is now about two inches long and the size of a lime. It is growing hair follicles, fingernails, and ovaries if she's a girl, and would have already started growing his testicles if its a boy. He/She has distinct human characteristics by now, with hands and feet in front of its body, with ears nearly in their final shape, open nasal passages on the tip of its tiny nose, a tongue and palate in the mouth, and visible nipples. Its hands and feet have individual fingers and toes, meaning good-bye to those frog-like webbed hands and feet!! Super exciting stuff!! 12 week pics next week!! Clothes are getting a little snug!
